LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) In the process of communication and public opinion, they understand how to control various concepts with different methods and gain the ability to solve problems by identifying the situations that do not work well. 2) By following the processes, the student acquires the ability to conduct research at a level of excellence and serve society by nurturing creative and critical thinking and innovation towards the continuity of interaction between theory and practice. 3) Finds, examines and presents examples from private and public life regarding censorship and self-censorship practices.

COURSE DEFINITION	By teaching the relatively interactive process in mass communication fields, the concept of "public opinion", one of the important features of mass communication, is defined and associated with discussions on public interest, public space, authority/sovereign/power, freedom of thought, consent production and propaganda perception management. Helping to develop broad perspective, evaluation, alternative thinking, analysis-synthesis and critical approaches with all means and methods of communication and planning, organizing and control functions for the development of in-depth and versatile relations with national and international public opinion, decision-making actors and the media. is targeted.
