At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will learn the relation between speaking and communication. 2) Will learn the accurate and false usage of speeches in Turkish language. 3) Will learn the rules of aesthetic for effectively speaking and have the ability to apply these rules and will have high self-confidence and social courage both individually and in public.

COURSE DEFINITION
In our course, the concept of communication, which is an auxiliary science of every branch of science, and its details will be shared. All details regarding proper speech, or as it is more commonly used, diction, will be discussed. Communication types, tools, speech planning, podium dominance, etc. Technical concepts such as will be explained. The differences between written and spoken language will be explained in detail and with examples. It is planned to explain in detail the roles played by artificial intelligence and its derivatives in writing and speech. The information explained will be reinforced by making written and oral presentations.

What is open and closed communication? What are the examples?
5th Week
What is diction? How to fix disorders?
6th Week
Stress and intonation features. Spoken and written language.
7th Week
Image and body language. Concepts of influence, identity and label.
8th Week
Midterm exam.
9th Week
Characteristics of the speaker. Speech editing techniques and methods. What is chair dominance and how is it achieved?
10th Week
How should an effective speech be made? What should the speaker features be? What are the tips for effective oratory? What are the words and phrases that should not be used?
11th Week
What are the definitions of program, event, concert, social media, podcast, video cast, TV cast? Is there a difference between them or not? What are the similarities and differences between the titles of presenter, moderator, curator, etc. in these channels?
12th Week
What is the contribution of new technological inventions such as Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT to speech? Should it play a role or shouldn't it be allowed?
13th Week
