At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will learn to think with a sociological perspective, to ask basic questions and answer them systematically using certain sociological methods. 2) Will learn to think with a sociological perspective, to ask basic questions and answer them systematically using certain sociological methods. 3) Will be able to discuss the concepts such as family, class, social stratification, gender, urbanization, religion, media, globalization, social movements, social change sociologically and will try to develop a sociological imagination of themselves.

COURSE DEFINITION
The main objective of the course is to introduce the main subjects and concepts of sociology to the students and by providing the main areas and concepts, it is objected for them to learn the society they live in and reflect this knowledge to their professional life. The aim for the students is getting at least "D" grade from the course at the end of the semester.
