COURSE DEFINITIONThis course covers teaching the basic rules and elements of visual design according to observation, researach, visual thinking, selective perception and abstraction; developing unique design languages; and working through imagery and creativity.

1st Week Introduction: Scope and objectives of the course.
2nd Week Aesthetics definition, history
3rd Week Philosophers and aesthetic theories
4th Week Analysis of aesthetic theories
5th Week Philosophy and art relationship
6th Week The language of art, aesthetics and communication
7th Week The concept of value in art and philosophy
8th Week Midterm exam
9th Week Concepts of good, correct and beautiful
10th Week Relationships between ethical and aesthetic concepts
11th Week Creativity in philosophy, science and art
12th Week Looking at art with philosophy
13th Week Criticism as a concept and action, types of criticism
14th Week Evaluation, answering the questions.
