At the end of this course, the students; 1) Know the general characteristics of documentary. 2) Know all the production steps of documentary film making. 3) Get the abilitiy of using information in practice, project designing and making.

COURSE DEFINITION
Aim of this course is to introduce documentary with its all different forms and characteristics as well as making the students experience all the production steps of documentary. The main titles that will be coverd in this course are: documentarist, definition and aim of documentary, documentary types through their production and component properties, subject selection, research, narration forms and script, production schedule, production steps, budget and budgeting.
