LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Have the ability to analyze value creation chain and its process; have the ability to comprehend the actors (capital, labor) and factors (legal, economic and political arrangements, union rights etc.) of the media industry which takes place in value creation process. 2) Learn value creation chain and its units, informational and promotional capitalism concepts; use Economy Politic Approach efficiently. 3) Evaluate current social events and facts, analyses with her/his own perspective.

COURSE DEFINITION | In this course the actors that have a role creating value chain (i.e. capital, labor force, licencing, marketing etc.) and factors (legal, economical and political regulations and union rights) of media industry will be discussed from the perspective of political economy together with the participants from the media industry. |
