1) Will acquire ability of analytical thinking and critical reading on media texts and have an openness to critical thought in assembling theoretical framework of media texts.

3) Will learn national, international, societal and intercultural dimensions of communication.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course is an examination of the effect and impact of mass media on contemporary life and society. The course covers both the historical evolution of media as well as contemporary developments and issues.
