At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the fundamentals and main discussion of refugee law with recourse to international documents. 2) Try to contribute to the advancement of refugee law whilst keeping in touch with our point of departure; human rights and specifically refugee rights. 3) Gain knowledge of fundamentals of refugee law, persons that can benefit from refugee protection, refugee determination procedures, and substantive rights and freedoms of refugees and asylum seekers.

COURSE DEFINITION
Refugee law, aliens law in Turkish legal system as mentioned below are only conceptual, but today many in the legal system as an important independent topic, to the attention of undergraduate students are provided. Refugee law is often under the heading of international refugee law are also reviewed.
