At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the subject of competition law. 2) Have knowledge of European Union law and learn the European competition law rules. 3) Explain the concept of prohibition of abuse. 4) Learn Turkish competition law. 5) Explain the concept of tacit collusion, decisions and competible actions. 6) Learn the concept of exemptions. 7) Learn the sanctions for violations of the competition. 8) Learn the Turkish competition authority.

COURSE DEFINITION
The historical development of competition law, the economical analyse of the law, the relationship between the competition law and the other branches of law; according to the comparison of the competition law of the European Community by " protection of the competition law " number 4054, the agreements limiting the competition among the companies; the actions and decisions in harmony; the individual and group exemptions; the misuse of the dominant situation and its preventions, the unions and takeovers; competition board; sanctions and case of judgements, the conclusion of competition limitations in civil law.
