LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Be able to express the relationship of the criminal law and the criminal executional law. 2) Be able to internalize the human rights aspect of the criminal executional law. 3) Be able to consider the criminal execution completely with the main lines. 4) Be able to evaluate the international standarts that the criminal execution systems should meet. 5) Be able to analyze the effects of the criminal execution system on the individuals and the community.

COURSE DEFINITION	The purpose of this course is, to present adequate knowledge about the new Turkish law on criminal execution by analyzing the law on the execution of sentences and security measures that regulates the period from the validity of the evrdict to the release of the convict from the penal institutions and the statute about the criminal execution and the release on probation. COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week The terms of criminal execution and the criminal executional law, the historical backround and the purpose of the the criminal executional law and 2nd Week The circumstances which are out of the structural elements of the offence and effective on the punishment. 3rd Week The implementation of the criminal executional rules in terms of the time, the main principles of the criminal executional law, the relationship of the criminal executional law with the other law areas 4th Week The object and the subject of the criminal execution, criminal execution systems 5th Week The term offence, the characteristic of the offence and the types. 6th Week Acceptance to the execution institution, plan of the criminal execution, the clasification of the convicts. 7th Week The negative effects of the executional institution on the convict 8th Week Midterm Exam 9th Week The rights and the obligations of the convict 10th Week The regime of the execution institution 11th Week The regime of the suspend to the criminal execution 12th Week The regime of the Execution institutions and the personnel 13th Week Execution Institutions Admisnistration of These Institutions Personnel 14th Week Suspension of Execution Inhibition of Execution
