COURSE DEFINITION
The concept of government, the theory separation of powers and its evolution, the characteristics of assembly government, parliamentary government, presidential government and the concept of semi-presidentialism in comparison with dual executive bodies; the characteristics of Westminister type of democracy; consensus democracy, consociational and deliberative democracy will be examined.
