At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn descriptive and analytic historical perspectives. 2) Read the historical development of Western Civilization through these perspectives. 3) Learn modern law, modern state, currenteconomic systems and the origins of the modern political systems and their historical development processes.

COURSE DEFINITION
"Civilization" is a society or culture group normally defined as a complex society characterized by the practice of agriculture and settlement in towns and cities. In this course it will be emphasized especially Western Civilization. The history of Western Civilization traces its roots back to Classical Antiquity and continues to the present era in Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania. From Classical Antiquity to today, how Western Civilization is developed disscussed in this course.
