LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Analyze the basic information about criminal law as a norm of behavior. 2) Define the basic concepts in criminal law. 3) Analyze the principle of legality. 4) Analyze the source of the penal norm. 5) Explain the doctrines of criminal law and the History of Turkish Criminal Law. 6) Explains the interpretation of the penal norm. 7) Explains the application of penal norms in terms of time. 8) Explains the application of penal norms in terms of place. 9) Explains the application of penal norms in terms of individuals. 10) Makes the classification of the elements of the crime. 11) Analyze the material element of the crime 12) Resolves the illegality of the crime 13) Explains the reasons for compliance with the law.

COURSE DEFINITION	This is a course that analyses the general principles of criminal law.
