At the end of this course, the students; 1) Distinguish the basic concepts and principles of law; 2) Distinguish the academic and implementation aspects of law, 3) Distinguish the philosophical and sociologic aspects of law, 4) Distinguish the concepts of law in effect (de lege lata) and ideal law (de lege ferenda) aspects of law, 5) Recognize the basic legal systems; 6) Recognize the basic features of Anglo-American legal culture (common law), 7) Recognize the basic features of Continental European Law, 8) Apprehend the historical importance of the reception, 9) Collate the similar and distinct features of legal thinking and ethical thinking; 10) Distinguish the normative statements from descriptive statements, 11) Recognize the teleological thinking, 12) Apprehend the distinction of phenomenon and value, 13) Analyse the constructing elements of dogmatic legal knowledge; 14) Recognize the institutional phenomenon, 15) Apprehend the basics of legal principles, 16) Recognize the process of legal assumptions, 17) Apprehend the intellectual processing of legal interpretation; 18) Recognize the kinds of interpretation, 19) Recognize the techniques of interpretation, 20) Configure the bases of reasoning.
