LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define the concept of risk 2) Define risks 3) Identify the way of coping with risks 4) Define the concept of insurance 5) Identify advantages and disadvantages of insurance 6) Evaluate kinds of private insurance 7) Define basic concepts of deficit assurance 8) Explain deficit insurance 9) Identify the insurance benefit of deficit assurance 10) Explains liability insurance 11) Identifies insurance benefit of liability assurance 12) Analyze prohibition of enrichment in assurance and exception of this prohibition 13) Explains basic concepts of "Takseli" assurance. 14) Explains basic concepts of income assurance. 15) Defines insurance contract and the basic concepts of this contract. 16) Identifies party of insurance contract. 17) Identifies the form of insurance contract. 18) Explains characteristics of insurance contract. 19) Explains the reasons of dissolution of insurance contract. 20) Explains property insurance.

COURSE DEFINITION	General characteristics of the insurance contract, the concept of insurance, the concept of the insurer, the concept of risk, the establishment of the insurance contract, its entry into force, the amendment, the provisions of the insurance contract and its termination, are the main concepts and subjects examined in this course.
