At the end of this course, the students; 1) explain the development of children?s literature in Turkey and world. 2) evaluate the features (design features, content features and educational features) that must be found in children's literature works. 3) discuss the negative effects of unskilled children's literature products on children's developmental characteristics. 4) evaluate the contributions of various literary genres (epic, fairy tale, poem, story, novel, etc.) and linguistic tools (clearance, nursery rhyme, riddle etc.) to children's development.
