COURSE DEFINITION	Finding, evaluating, using accurate and reliable scientific sources, conducting research and writing reports. Getting to know library systems, scanning the internet and electronic databases, learning the rules of writing assignments and reports, writing reports in accordance with scientific ethics.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Week 1 Introduction I: Course introduction, content, importance, aims, rules and requirements 2nd Week 2. Introduction II: Introduction of the course, its content, importance, aims, rules and requirements. 3rd Week 3. The nature of science, types of knowledge and characteristics of scientific knowledge. Scientific research process and stages, the importance of scientific research in Educational Sciences and PDR. 4th Week 4. Reporting and the importance of reporting in scientific research. Types of scientific reports. 5th Week 5. Accessing scientific information: Using libraries and databases. Library visit. 6th Week 6. Formal features of the research report: APA 7 writing rules 7th Week 7. Scientific research and publication ethics. 8th Week 8. Informing the research topic to be written for the final exam based on the MIDTERM EXAM and preliminary studies. 9th Week 9. Citing references in the text and in the bibliography according to APA 7. I Practice writing title, abstract and keywords. 10th Week 10. Citation in the text and in the bibliography according to APA 7 II. Bibliography writing exercises. 11th Week 11. Formal features of the research report: 12th Week Front section: Cover, contents, list of tables, list of figures. 13th Week Main section: Report text. 14th Week 12. Developing a literature review assignment on the selected topic. 15th Week 13. Literature review on the selected subject, submission of the assignment and general evaluation. 16th Week 14.
