At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explains the basic concepts of developmental psychology, 2) Comprehends cognitive development periods, 3) Understands the physical development periods, 4) Comprehends the personal development periods, 5) Understand the moral development periods, 6) Explain the effects of individual differences on teaching process and learning perception, 7) Explains the basic concepts of learning, 8) Understand learning theories and processes 9) Evaluates the implications of developmental psychology knowledge in terms of education, 10) Integrates learning psychology perspective and approaches with their field.

COURSE DEFINITION
Basic principles and concepts of developmental psychology, basic development areas (cognitive, physical, personal, moral), individual differences, basic concepts in learning psychology, learning theories, reflections of developmental psychology in education, reflections of information in learning psychology to education.
The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the concepts of lifelong development, development theories, basic learning psychology theories and their implications for education.
