COURSE DEFINITIONThe main purposes of this course are analyzing the Modern Turkish Literature works and introducing the theories related with the instruction of these works. Besides, the methods how the works of Modern Turkish literature can explain to the students in an interesting way are discussed. Methods, strategies, and techniques on this topic are taught with practices.

1st Week Introducing curriculum, teaching instruction on the Principles.
2nd Week Concepts of theory and literature
3rd Week Art, fine art, fine arts and literature, art, literature, duties and function; literary work; description properties
4th Week Literary science? Branches of the science of literature and methods
5th Week The concept of critique and criticism Turkish literature
6th Week Reflection theory; Plato and Aristotle's aesthetics
7th Week 16. and 17. centuries, the theory of reflection
8th Week Facing criticism of the outside world and society
9th Week Midterm exam
10th Week Expressionist
11th Week The artist-centered criticism:Biographical criticism, psychoanalytic reading
12th Week Work-based critique: Formalism / structuralism
13th Week The reader-centered criticism: Hermeneuitik
14th Week Aprroaches of the new criticism: a new historicist approach, feminist criticism
15th Week Aprroaches of the new criticism: Poststructuralism and archetypal criticism
