LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) recognize the representatives and Works of folk poem. 2) examine and interpret Works of folk poem. 3) evaluate folk poems and tales with educational perspective for different levels of primary education.

COURSE DEFINITION	The formation period of Turkish Aşık Literature, the representatives of the period and their works are explained and works of the period are analyzed. The information on the periods from 16th century onwards and the poets as Karacaoğlan, Gevheri, Aşık Ömer, Emrah, Ruhsati, Aşık Veysel, Aşık Mehmet are given.
