COURSE DEFINITION
The Sufi literature which is a discipline in Turkish folk literature is investigated deeply. The informations about
Sufism, its sources and bibliography on Sufism, the historical progress of Sufi literature and forms and varieties
in Sufi literature are given. The Sufi poets such as Ahmed Yesevi, Yunus Emre, Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, Ahi Evran,
Kaygusuz Abdal, Niyazi-i Mısri, Akşemseddin, İbrahim Hakkı and their works are introduced.
