LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Bilgisayarın temel bileşenlerini, donanım ve yazılım kavramlarını tanımlayabileceklerdir. 2) Windows İşletim sistemini özelliklerini ve işleyişini işleme koyabileceklerdir. 3) Windows işletim sistemi içinde çalışan Word (kelime işlemci), Excel (hesaplama ve tablolama), PowerPoint(sunum), FrontPage (web sayfası tasarlama ve yayınlama) gibi ofis programlarını kullanabileceklerdir. 4) Internet Explorer programıyla da öğrendiklerini destekleyebileceklerdir.

COURSE DEFINITION	To provide students with the skills and knowledge of comprehending the basic computer skills and Windows Operating System, creating text documents with MS-Word, applying and changing the formatting on the document, creating worksheets with MS-Excel, formatting the worksheets, adding and using formulas and creating charts of the table, creating slide shows with PowerPoint, adding objects and applying different effects on the objects of a slide show, arranging the adjustment of slide transitions, using slide show, Microsoft Outlook software which is used for efficient office management is aiming to be shown in detail, Internet Explorer programe would also be tought for resaurce purposes
