COURSE DEFINITION	The place of Divan Literature in Turkish literature, scope of Divan literature. The historical development of Divan literature, poetry in Divan literature, varieties and forms of Divan literature (gazel, kaside, mesnevi, münacat, na't, hicviye etc). Examples from Divan poetry, practices on texts. Images, literary figures, practices on aruz measure. The poetry worlds of Divan poets.
