LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define the concept of Literature and periods of Turkish literature 2) The old Turkish literature and what I am able of types and forms of Turkish folk literature 3) Based on the sample poems, reading to understand and interpret.

COURSE DEFINITION	Literary concepts and relations of these concepts with each other, literary works and their genaral features. The events and results which bring the literature into exsistance. Systematic literature technics and literary theories. Literary schools (classicism, romanticism, realism, naturalism etc.), philosophical principals of literary schools, reflections of literary schools on literary works.
