At the end of this course, the students; 1) compare differences and relationship between suffix, root and stem. 2) define suffixes in Turkish according semantic and function. 3) solve words thereby seperate derivational affix and inflexional suffix. 4) appraise semantic reliationship by means of suffixes between words

COURSE DEFINITION
The morphological features of Turkish, roots and suffixes, the features of nominal and verbal roots, derivational
and inflectional suffixes, word derivation, practices on definig the Turkish suffixes in texts. Voices in Turkish
verbs, practices on voice suffixes, Mood-tense-person categories.
