Examining conventional Turkish poetry starting from first and pioneer exapmles in Turkish literature in general terms. Discoursing on historical development and structural qualifications of conventioanl Turkish poetry. Analyzing texts. Introducing periods starting from 16th century and informing about poets such as Aşık Ömer, Emrah, Ruhsati, Aşık Veysel, Aşık Mehmet
