COURSE DEFINITIONKey points on writing scientific reports with datas gathered through scientific research methods and techniques in forms of article, thesis, reports etc.; discussion and evaluation of scientific reports; using appropriate formats for reports; sicientific report forms such as APA, MLA etc.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Explaining the aim of report writing course and its content, presenting a short thorough scientific report
2nd Week Analyzing different types of scientific reports and their core conditions
3rd Week Analyzing rules of scientific reporting
4th Week The efficient way of searching scientific knowledge on internet and at the libraries
5th Week Writing an example of scientific report about scientific report writing
6th Week Delivering term-paper assignments to the students, and explaining expected characteristics of such a term- paper
7th Week Presenting tabulations and cross-tabulations in required scientific way for scientific reporting
8th Week MIDTERM
9th Week Presenting basic APA style in scientific reports, term papers etc.
10th Week Presenting basic APA style in scientific reports, term papers etc.
11th Week Presentations of students' term papers and their criticism according to the appropriate report writing rules
12th Week Presentations of students' term papers and their criticism according to the appropriate report writing rules
13th Week Criticizing different types of tabulated results
