1) Produces research problems in the field of mathematics education,
2) Carries out literature review studies related to mathematics education,
3) Develops data collection tools related to mathematics education
4) Applies data collection tools related to mathematics education on a specific sample / participant group
5) Collects data related to the research question,
6) Analyses the collected data with quantitative / qualitative methods.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe students taking this course are expected to prepare, conduct, report, and present a scientific research project on a topic determined in the field of mathematics education. During this process, they will engage in practical application of research steps (writing research problem, literature review, sample selection, developing data collection tools, data analysis, and reporting analysis results), scientific ethics, and the nature of quantitative and qualitative research methods and their approaches.
