At the end of this course, the students; 1) Interprets children's literature works in the context of the characteristics and general goals of children's literature. 2) Evaluates the contributions of different children's literature works (fairy tales, poems, stories, novels, etc.) to child development. 3) Explains the historical role of children's literature. 4) Evaluates children's literature works by taking into account the features that should be present in children's literature works. 5) Develops methods to gain the habit of reading. 6) Explains the role of children's literature works in teaching Turkish. 7) Develops and applies reading comprehension questions according to Barrett's Taxonomy for children's literature. 8) It implements interactive book reading applications.
