COURSE DEFINITIONMethods of teaching music, methods of teaching notes, using rhythm and melody to organize songs for children with orff instruments, effective usage of instruments in teaching song, relationship among play, music, dance and speaking, development of musical appreciation with music-aesthetic relation, associating music lesson activities with other disciplines, activities related to primary music program.

1st Week Historical development of Turkish music and concert.
2nd Week Historical development of Turkish music and its relation with other music cultures.
3rd Week Concerts related to world music cultures.
4th Week Vocalization and composing studies.
5th Week Vocalization and composing studies.
6th Week Melody study, collective playing and singing with measure 5/8, "sharp fa" sound.
7th Week Melody study, collective playing and singing with measure 9/8 and other measurement patterns, the "flat mi" sound.
8th Week Mid-term
9th Week Sample studies with children's music with games.
10th Week Sample studies with children's music with games.
11th Week Sample studies with children's music with games.
12th Week Sample studies with children's music with games.
13th Week Melody study, collective playing and singing with all given measurement patterns and changing signs.
