At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will be able to know information literacy, 2) Will be informed about the use of internet and social media and their effects on the individuals, 3) Will be able to know the power of spreading and misleading knowledge, 4) Will be able to have information about the strength of news dissemination & value of news and quality analysis, 5) Will be able to recognize media and perception management 6) Will be able to have knowledge about the legal rights and responsibilities for the media and the internet, 7) Will be able to have knowledge about the copyright & personality right, 8) Will be able to have knowledge about knowledge privacy & privacy violation, 9) Will be able to have knowledge about the use of language in the media, 10) Will be able to have knowledge about popular culture & the roles of women and men in the media, 11) Will be able to have knowledge about consumer culture and advertising 12) Will be able to have knowledge about stereotyping in the media. 13) Will be able to have knowledge and skills in media anaylsis
