At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows the basic concepts in the field of character and value education. 2) Knows the applications of character and value education in Türkiye and the world. 3) Makes and implements a teaching plan for character and value education.* 4) Gains knowledge about the psychological and individual foundations of values. 5) Becomes aware of the basic processes and principles used in values education 6) Discusses the concepts of basic human rights, ethics and multiculturalism.

COURSE DEFINITION
Students taking this course will be able to discuss basic human rights, ethics and moral values; It is aimed to provide students with basic understanding and experiences that will enable them to contribute to the moral/ethical and character development of both their individual lives and the people they will serve as psychological counselors of the future. In this course, Basic concepts (character, personality, virtue, temperament, morality, value), Fundamental human rights (rights advocacy, rights-based approach), Ethics and multiculturalism, Values (Classification of values, Values and the concepts they are related to, Psychological and individual foundations), Well-being, Character strengths and virtues.
