LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the developmental characteristics of hospitalized children according to age groups. 2) Identify the psychological needs of hospitalized children. 3) Knows the steps of communicating with hospital staff. 4) Knows the processes of determining the needs of the child in the treatment processes.

COURSE DEFINITION	In this course, it is aimed to discuss what can be done regarding the education process of children who are treated in hospitals for a long time for chronic or other reasons.
