At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learns the basic concepts, subjects and methods of the field of Educational Anthropology. 2) By examining educational research on different cultures, comprehends the similarities and differences in basic areas such as school, classroom, curriculum and teacher training. 3) Evaluates education, training and learning processes in a cultural context through examples from our national education, as well as from global examples.

Subject, basic concepts, history and method of anthropology; basic approaches in social-cultural anthropology; education from an anthropological perspective and the basic concepts of educational anthropology; cultural foundations and functions of education; intercultural differentiation, education and learning; school as a living space, school cultures and ethnographies; media, mass media, popular culture and education; globalization, cultural interaction, cultural literacy and education; Education in oral and written literary works in the history of Turkish culture and civilization; The roles of parents and children in the Turkish family structure.
