At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define basic concepts in instructional technologies, 2) Explain information technologies in education according to field of use, 3) Explain theoretical approaches pertaining to instructional technologies. 4) Know and get skills in contemporary literacy, 5) Develop instructional materials that are in line with visual design rules, 6) Analyse instructional materials according to evaluation criteria.

COURSE DEFINITION
Instructional Technologies and Applications course examines technologies to be used in education in terms of theoretical
approaches and teaching process. In this course, students create assessment criteria by developing new and current
learning approaches, current literacy and software usage skills, and designing digital teaching materials. In this way, they develop more interactive, scenario-based, thematic teaching materials.
