At the end of this course, the students; 1) Organizes musical games to be used in preschool period. 2) Produces and teaches musical games. 3) Establishes the relationship between rhythm, play, movement and dance. 4) Explains the foundations of the Orff-Schulwerk approach. 5) Establishes the relationship between Orff-Schulwerk approach and other disciplines.

COURSE DEFINITION
Fundamentals of Carl Orff and Orff-Schulwerk Approach (formation, development, purpose); To enable students to recognize Orff instruments; Properties of Orff instruments; To be able to perform simple monophonic and polyphonic melodies with Orff instruments; To be able to use Orff instruments as a general music education tool; To be able to use Orff instruments in sub-applications of Orff approach (accompaniment, dramatization, rhythm, movement, etc.); To be able to improvise with Orff instruments.
