At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understands the general characteristics of building technologies and materials and develops his/her evaluations on architectural developments. 2) To be able to associate advanced building technologies with contemporary design approaches and compare different applications. 3) Analyzes the innovations and technologies used in building construction in terms of their formal and conceptual features. 4) Analyzing and solving material selection methods and factors affecting the selection.
