1) Learns architectural memory in the design process.
2) Learns the important archaeological examples in world history of the reflection of the memory of societies on architecture.
3) Understands the role of memory spaces in the transfer of culture.
4) Develops sensitivity about preserving memory places in Turkish culture.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe intersection of memory and architecture is investigated through various archaeological examples. Long before the books were made in paper, constructions and written monuments can be regarded as "books" in which the social stories of mankind are written / written. Constructions have been the mediators of the past, with the most powerful presence showing strength and often their turbulent past. Individual or community-shared stories, memoirs, and experiential architectural spaces are meant. This course is not merely a matter of individual mind? will be examined in the dimension of archaeological architecture how the concept is manifested in our daily life.

6th Week Cures in Anatolia (Memory and water)
7th Week Library buildings in Anatolia; Ephesus Celcus Library and Pergamon Library
