| COURSE DEFINITION | The course starts with explanations to clarify the structure, operation, essential characteristics, and functions of various countertrade activities, and then the development phases of countertrade activities and their effects will be evaluated on the basis of some real case studies. Within the context of countertrade methods, activities such as; barter, clearing, counter-purchase, swap, buy-back, built-operate-transfer, built-own-operate, offset, and buy-sell will be discussed. |
