At the end of this course, the students; 1) The importance and difference of global entrepreneurship for large, medium and small companies, the management of the global commercial entrepreneurship process, global commercial collaborations and strategic partnerships (consortium, license, franchising, joint venture-joint venture-contracts, etc.) will be learned. 2) You will learn recently emerging new concepts in international business activities such as Born Globally, Multi-Domestic Firms and International Network Relations.

COURSE DEFINITION
Definition, scope, characteristics, and development of Global Commercial Entrepreneurship will be made clear through international examples. Political and environmental factors in Global Commercial Entrepreneurship will be discussed and, in this context, global competition will be evaluated in terms of different market dimensions. The importance and differences of global entrepreneurship in large, medium and small firms, the management of the global commercial entrepreneurship process as well as global commercial alliances and strategic partnerships (consortia, licensing, franchising, joint venture, contracting, etc.) will be discussed. In the meantime, the globally evolved firms, multi-domestic firms, and recently emerging new concepts in international business activities, such as International Network Relations, will be clarified.
