LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) How to develop a research plan for a project by using the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired during their undergraduate period. 2) To create a project implementation and management plan 3) To do literature research required to develop scientific studies. 4) The basic rules and materials of the research laboratory and design experiments.

COURSE DEFINITION	Within the scope of this course, students will be able to create a research project in the field of molecular biology and genetics. Thus, they gain experience in literature review, building a hypothesis and experimental plan for this hypothesis.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Information about project creation, writing projects, determining experimental plan, writing reports. 2nd Week Determining the project topic. 3rd Week Determining the project topic. 4th Week Literature review about the topic. 5th Week Literature review about the topic. 6th Week Developing / implementing methods, experiments and / or designs. 7th Week Writing the Project. 8th Week Writing the Project. 9th Week Writing the Project. 10th Week Performing preliminary experiments. 11th Week Performing preliminary experiments. 12th Week Evaluation of preliminary results. 13th Week Evaluation of preliminary results. 14th Week Preparing the report and presentation for the final exam.
