LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn the concepts and general information about pharmacogenetics.
2) Learn the pathways of drug metabolism.
3) Understand the mechanisms changing the action and bioavailability of drugs at the molecular level.
4) Learn the genetic characteristics changing the effects of the drugs used for treatment and diagnosis.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of this study is to discuss the changes in drug kinetics and the response of patients to drugs between individuals and ethnic groups according to genetic structure.
