At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the basic principles of enzymology, structures and properties of enzymes and enzyme classification. 2) Learn the mechanism of enzyme action. 3) Learn Enzyme activity and its determination and factors influencing enzyme activity. 4) Learn the enzyme kinetics. 5) Learn the clinical enzymology.

The aim of this course; Basic theoretical information about enzymology, chemical structure and properties of enzymes, catalyst effect of enzymes, classification of enzymes, non-enzymatic biological catalysts, information about enzymes in drug design.
