At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the scope of plant biotechnology and its impact on agriculture. 2) Learn basic procedures in plant biotechnology. 3) Learn the plant transformation technologies. 4) Learn the biotechnological improvement of yield and quality traits and using plants for biofactories and bioenergy. 5) Learn commercial, legal and ethical aspects.
