LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Define the properties and differences of plant cells.
2) Classify water balance and transport mechanisms in plants.
3) Express the biochemical details of photosynthesis and its ecological importance.
4) Have basic knowledge other metabolic functions in plants.
5) Define development and growth of plant, hormones, flowering and stress factors in plants.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, students will have information about the basic concepts of plant cells, water balance in plants, photosynthesis, transport mechanisms, respiration and lipid metabolism, growth and development, hormones and stress physiology in plants.
