LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Apply the steps of molecular cloning.
2) Know how to detect gene transferred by molecular cloning, determine expression level and protein expression.
3) Know how to do experimental studies with the obtained recombinant organism.
4) Knows expression analysis with real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (qRT-PCR) and interprets the results.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, it is aimed to learn the basic principles of molecular cloning, the screening of clones, and the basic experimental protocols for target gene expression analysis and to gain practical knowledge about these techniques.
