1) Understand the concept of Iron-Carbon Diagram
2) Understand mechanical properties, conducting experiments to find mechanical properties for metals

3) Understand possible mechanical property changes, crystal structures, alloys and alloy properties

4) Describe some of the very common material processing techniques of metallic, ceramic, polymeric and composite materials
