COURSE DEFINITION	Müziğin 1500'lü yıllardan 20. yüzyıla kadar süren tarihsel gelişimini kavratmak, müzik tarihi içerisindeki bu döneme ait gelişmelerin öğrenilmesini sağlamak, döneme ait önemli isim ve kurumlar hakkında bilgilendirmek.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week The development, appearance and characteristics of instrumental-choral and opera music in the Late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. 2nd Week Composers and composition of the Renaissance period. 3rd Week General perspective of music and its features,composers and works during the Baroque period. 4th Week Instrumental-Choral-Vocal and Opera compositions 5th Week Composers in early Baroque music; technical and historical examination of the works of this period. 6th Week Composers and works of the Late Baroque period's music. 7th Week 1.
