COURSE DEFINITION	To be able to learn and analyze various musical works in terms of form structure.

Basic Factors in Form. 2nd Week Harmony, Counterpoint and Cadences. 3rd Week Phrase, Semi-Phrase and Motive. 4th Week Phrase Groupings and Period. 5th Week Simple Part Form. One-Part Form. 6th Week Two-part Form ? Binary and Rounded Binary. 7th Week Macrorhythm and Macrotonal plan. 8th Week Ara Sınav 9th Week Three-Part Form ? Ternary. 10th Week Four and Five-part Forms. 11th Week Simple Part Forms in Vocal Music. 12th Week Composite-Part Forms.
