COURSE DEFINITION	The aim of this course is to do the performance practice on makams and usuls of Traditional Turkish Music (TTM).
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Repertoire Studies 1: examples of Rast, Suzinak, Pençgah and Büzürg makams in various usul and genres. 2nd Week Repertoire Studies 2: examples of Çargah, Mahur 3rd Week Repertoire Studies 3: examples of Nikriz, Zavil and Neveser makams in various usul and genres. 4th Week Repertoire Studies 4: examples of Segah, Hüzzam and Müstear makams in various usul and genres. 5th Week Midterm 1 6th Week Repertoire Studies 5: examples of Ferahnak, Irak and Eviç makams in various usul and genres. 7th Week Repertoire Studies 6: examples of Saba, Kuçek and Saba Zemzeme 8th Week Repertoire Studies 7: examples of Buselik, Nihavend and Sultaniyegah makam in various usul and genres. 9th Week Repertoire Studies 8: examples of Şehnaz, Şehnaz Buselik and Hisar Buselik makams in various usul and genres. 10th Week Midterm 2 11th Week Repertoire Studies 9: examples of Evcara, Şedaraban and Suz-i Dil makams in various usul and genres. 12th Week Repertoire Studies 10: examples of Muhayyer Sünbüle ve Acem Kürdi 13th Week Repertoire Studies 11: examples of Nişabur ve Nişaburek makams in various usul and genres. 14th Week Repertoire Studies 12: examples of Gülizar ve Buselik Aşiran makams in various usul and genres.
